Got a TikTok account? Regularly pumping out videos with barely a person looking at them? Don't worry. Millions of people are in exactly the same boat as you. Everybody and their dog seems to want to become TikTok famous. Barely anybody knows how to do this. In fact, even the people who do become TikTok famous probably don't have a clue how they got there. They just rode that wave.
We are not going to tell you that the advice on this page is going to catapult you to global stardom. It probably won't. There is far too much luck involved in that. What we can tell you is that the information here is absolute gold if you want to increase your TikTok likes. They will shoot through the roof. It will take little effort on your part too.
Can you buy TikTok likes?
Absolutely. Purchasing views on your video is probably one of the best ways to kick-start your TikTok career. It will help to get your videos noticed by the masses. This is because views are one of the keys to hopping on the trending tags. Of course, if you are going to go down this route (and you should) make sure you are using a reputable service like HypeTik.com.
Make quality videos
Now that is out of the way, we can start diving into the other things that you can do. Perhaps the best way is to make a quality video.
Think of all of those popular videos you have seen on TikTok. Every single one. Were there any that were not all that interesting? Chances are that the answer is 'no'. Boring videos don't get watched on TikTok. They may not always be interesting for the reasons the original creator intended (some are just cringe-central), but they are watchable.
So, here is your first lesson on increasing your TikTok likes: make your video watchable. Don't record a video for the sake of making a video. Record a video with the intention of entertaining somebody outside of your friends and family. If you can't do that, then you aren't going to get any TikTok likes.
It is probably going to take a while before you 'nail' that perfect video. Our suggestion is to have a look at some of the most popular videos in the app. See what they are doing right. Think about how the creator is making them interesting in the short span of time they have available to them. We bet you would start to notice a trend, such as:
- The creator is using current popular songs
- The creator has hopped on a trend (more on this soon)
- Crafty use of filters
- Energetic videos
Obviously, things do change on TikTok rather rapidly. A video that is popular now may not necessarily be popular a few weeks from now. If you want to stand any chance of being popular on TikTok, then you need to actively work on seeing what is popular. Yes. You are going to be a bit of a follower now, but you need to be a follower while you learn your stuff. One day, you could be a trendsetter.
Follow the latest trends
Challenges are all the rage at TikTok. Jump in on one of them, and you are virtually guaranteed to get a couple of views and some likes. You may even get some followers. If you do things in a bit more of a unique way (don't be afraid to get creative with your videos!), then you may even hit the front page of TikTok. That is when the real fun starts to happen.
See if any of your favorite TikTok creators are doing a challenge. This is a great way to generate a few ideas. Failing that, you can always go trending tags on TikTok and see if anything catches your attention. This leads us neatly to our final point.
Use tags
Seriously. If you fail to use tags on your TikTok videos, then you aren't going to get any views or likes. TikTok has great content discoverability, but you actually need to make your content discoverable. Give them relevant tags. Look at current trending tags if you want a few ideas about what to base your videos on.
If you really want to ramp up the likes, then you may want to stick to some of the more niche tags (i.e. the ones that barely get any content added). There are still viewers here. Nowhere near as many as some of the major tags, but you have to start somewhere right? Surely, it is better to be somebody in a small niche than a nobody in a big one?
Hopefully, these tips are going to help you become 'big' on TikTok. Take it one day at a time.
